About
As a family, we have been on Tara for over 8 generations. In more recent years we opened our gift store in Newgrange. Both stores are home to an array of Irish and International crafts, gifts, clothing and books that capture the history, magic and spiritual energy of both sites.
Eat |
At Tara, our restaurant and café can accommodate 85 people with both indoor and garden seating available. Our menu features some of the best local ingredients all hand prepared and cooked by our team.
We recently built an Outdoor Wood Fired Pizza Oven serving up delicious pizzas in our garden area.

Shop |
Our gift shops at the Hill of Tara and Brú na Bóinne are brimming Irish gifts and souvenirs including handcrafted Irish pottery and Irish tweed and wool. Being spiritual sites in nature, we carry Shamanic and Well-being products including esoteric books, crystals and handmade Irish fairies. We also work closely with small local crafters to create bespoke ranges designed exclusively for our stores.
Visit the Tara Village |
On Tara, we have renovated two additional traditional farm sheds in the village. These sheds were previously used as a milking parlour and a former home to the family's livestock. Today, one shed houses Tara Open Studio, an art gallery and well-being space ran by internationally acclaimed artist, Courtney Davis. The second shed is home to an Antique Book Store run by local historian and author of many books himself, Michael Slavin.
