The Sterling Silver Tara Brooch is handcrafted in the traditional Celtic method of casting brooches by Master Silversmith, Declan Cranks, in Mullingar, County Westmeath, Ireland. It is a replica of the original Tara Brooch which was made between 650-750 AD, found later in 1850 on a beach about 25 Kilometers from Tara itself. The original Tara Brooch is now on display at the National Museum of Ireland in Dublin.
Mullingar-based Silversmith Declan Cranks' collection of gold, silver and bronze jewellery is inspired by the magic of Ireland's ancient heritage and designed by his partner, Geraldine.
